Emma & Matt’s gorgeous rustic DIY wedding was set in the heart of the Berkshire countryside in the late summer. Their ceremony was held at a local church in Speen, Newbury and was followed by a reception at North Hidden Barn in Hungerford. The barn comes as a blank canvas and, with the help of The White Horse Flower Company as well as their own creativity, they turned it into a stunning space for their wedding. The vibe was relaxed and merry, especially when a converted horse box arrived in the evening to serve fresh wood-fired pizza and folks were enjoying roasting marshmallows around fire pits. Emma & Matt are just amazing and their day truly represented them. One of my highlights of the day was escaping with the bride and groom in the evening to walk on the hillside during sunset to snap some more couple photos and to help slow the day down for them. I hope you’ll agree with me that this is a great example of doing a wedding ‘your own way’. P.S. look out for the gorgeous ring bearer!
